Well everything happened quite quickly. I started applying for jobs in Melbourne. I got offered an interview, so I flew down from Brisbane to do it - and I got the job! It's absolutely fantastic. I've loved it so far. The difficult part has been trying to find somewhere to live. But today I got the word that a place I'd put an application in for was approved - so I have a home! I'm so excited to have my own place. I'm sharing with one of my closest friends so it's going to be fun. I can't wait. In artistic news, I haven't really had time to work on my novel at all. Which is disappointing, but not at all surprised considering all my materia

Well, I'm back home in Australia. It's good to be back. I had a wonderful time overseas, but nothing beats home. Having said that, I'm pretty desperate to get out and take some photos at the moment. I have such a different perspective on Australia... which I suppose it pretty normal when you travel, right? Anyway, I'm currently looking for a job. I hate not working. So that's my main priority at the moment. That's about all I had to say, though. Just needed the front page to say something different. Can't believe it's been a year since I wrote in this journal! (Actually, I can believe it. I really can.) xo

The weather here in the UK is starting to warm up, which is quite nice. Spring here is absolutely amazing. Trees change here, stretching their decorated arms toward the warming sun. Daffodils line every road - around every corner bursts another stretch of bright yellow. Did you know there are white daffodils? I didn't until now. My life is currently like an Enid Blyton book. It is beautiful here. We went to Egypt when I first got here, which was just amazing. I didn't take my camera with me because we weren't going to any pyramids etc, but I regret not taking it - there were still other things to photograph (there always is!). We're off t
